The Rye Bead Group
Try something new. A new stitch for
beginners but experienced beaders
will embellish, increase/decrease and
expand their knowledge of that
stitch.
Bring your own project - share
any problems, new techniques,
tea and chat.
Own projects as above. Discuss
new technique to be explored at
next meeting - Peyote suggested
No meeting but……
Alexandra Palace Twisted Thread
exhibition - see
http://www.twistedthread.com
Travel by train as a group and
spend as long as wanted at this
fascinating exhibition. Bead
suppliers and the Guild of
Beadweavers will be there. Tickets
will be pre-booked to get lower
price. Please tell me if you want to
come.
Own project. Discuss new technique
for next session - Herringbone
suggested
Extend knowledge of a familiar
stitch as above.
Own project. Plan next term's
programme.
Christmas - mince pies and chat -
beading if you like.
Some members are completing City & Guilds Bead
Needle Weaving Part 1 (on line or by post). If you
are interested in doing this please get in touch as
it makes distance learning more enjoyable with
others to share any problems.

Beginners are more than welcome and will be
taken through a variety of stitches with help from
other beaders.

Costs. £1 per session to cover tea/coffee.
Materials are available from me but I cannot
stock many things. Information on websites and
retail shops is available from members.
